![]() The crowd screaming BARCA gave me chills. I then focuses solely on the chanting, whistle and shot sounds etc, and they were terrific. For an instant, I thought that the sounds in PES were not as good as FIFA's, but I forgot that the commentator was excluded in PES demo (who the fuck does that?). Double tapping X to intercept the opposing player made my life easier. I still struggle with FIFA's new defense controls, the one that was introduced in FIFA 12, but that was not an issue as PES controls were as efficient, as clinical. IT IS CALLED FOOTBALL) games nerd, I've never been able to do anything more than shot feints and two-three tricks. Much easier than FIFA's, with a more simple dribbling system. I started the game, played Performance training and learned that the new controls were really fun. The old PES games didn't have that much of a RPG menu feeling in it, and the SFX didn't help it. Menu and layout was not even as close to FIFA's, and the game felt very "Japanese". I figured that I at least can give it a try, since that I anyways had to wait for FIFA 13's demo to come out. So I proceeded and downloaded PES 2013, despite the bad impression I've got from PES these last couple of years. I went to the PlayStation store to get my FIFA 13 demo, but it wasn't out just yet. I therefore haven't played the latest PES games more than like half an hour each. To get this straight, I've been a PES fan until FIFA '08 came out. ![]()
